When a young boy shoots at a bird and misses, he embarks on a search to find where the bullet went.
Director’s Vision for ‘Where The Bullets Go’
One day when I was young, I carelessly shot a bullet straight up in the air while target shooting with my Dad in the backyard. This prompted him to angrily say, “That’s gotta come down somewhere,” to which I nervously replied, “It does?”
In the week that followed, I watched every second of the news and read every newspaper to see if anyone had been hit by a bullet with no suspects. Luckily that didn’t happen, but the possible outcome has stuck with me since then. This film is that worst case scenario brought to life.
This film is a coming-of-age story about consequence, the realization that the world is bigger than we can comprehend, and that we are steeped in a chaos we cannot control.
