Director’s Statement

I had the chance to work with dancers from the renowned Balletto Teatro Di Torino at the annual Experimental Film Virginia artists residency, which brings in filmmakers and performers from all over the world. While the dancers speak their native Italian in this film, sub-titles are not necessary. It’s always crystal clear what’s being said, which was of utmost importance to me as the storyteller…since I don’t speak Italian!
