Men are two times more likely to die by suicide than women worldwide. In many countries this ratio is even higher. Men share their stories and personal experiences with their mental health, living in a society that ridicules them for their mental health struggles. This raw and honest short film aims to break the stigma attached to men’s mental health and normalise men expressing their feelings.
Director’s Vision
I wanted to make this film to spotlight men’s mental health and fight the ongoing stigma that is attached to it. We must create more media outlets that normalise men talking about their feelings in relatable ways, which I hope this film will contribute to that and resonate with audiences of all demographics, regardless of gender and stereotypes.
