As a former professional athlete, I wanted to make a film that captured the identity crisis we athletes endure when we are forced to move on from our sport. No matter the level of success you achieve, every athlete’s situation is the same: your life’s singular commitment is coming to an end. However, when to walk away from it all is never clear, as giving up goes against everything we’ve ever known.
