The Jane is a “choose your own adventure” story that challenges notions of love, monogamy, fate, and our ability to make decisions in general. The film explores one man’s dilemma as he is presented with an unique sexual proposition by two women at The Jane Hotel bar, in New York City, while waiting for takeout food for his girlfriend. What follows is an exploration of nearly every possible way the night could go. The entire cast of the film, as well as it’s writer/director, are veteran performers of the UCB theater in New York, who saw the film as an opportunity to explore a more dramatic side.
