Superlab was made as a tribute to the greatest show ever made – Breaking Bad. The film is set in the iconic underground meth lab that was introduced in season 3 of the show.
It begins by exploring the surroundings and equipment from angles and close ups never seen before. After a while the lab begins to come to life and allude to many seminal moments that happen in the lab.
For Breaking Bad fans it will be a nostalgic journey to somewhere familiar yet totally different.
Director’s Vision
I consider Breaking Bad to be the best the best series ever made, so as a tribute I spent a number of years on and off building the underground lab. I wanted to show off the lab in a way it hadn’t been in the show. Many seminal moments happened in the lab and I wanted to make something fans could connect with.
