An expatriated father returns to his hometown after a long period of absence to reconnect with his son. At his arrival he is met with hostility from the others and made to leave again, putting his commitment to the test.

Director’s Vision for ‘Sunday’

Sunday is about the willingness to reconnect with the inner child that one has lost or left behind. The father, an exiled man, is banished from his own home and his desire is tested when he has to traverse the night and overcome physical and mental obstacles before getting back home to his son.
