Director’s Notes

This is the 6th film in an ongoing ‘one month, one film’ project, where we’re writing, shooting and editing a short every month of the year. They’re all no-budget or micro-budget films (this one cost a whopping 11 euros to make) as everyone involved is a volunteer and self-taught.

With the film we tried to explore themes of misinformation, lack of information and sensationalism in today’s society and media. The main challenge was how to tell and complete mystery/resolution, in going with the detective thriller genre, within such a short format. So we attempted to play with the themes themselves to make a seemingly straight forward mystery not that obvious when given some thought.
