So Many Little Deaths is about a woman being confronted by her suppressed rage. As she battles with the different embodiments of her past anger, she must decide whether to continue fighting her feelings or embracing the lesson they’re teaching. The body of work is an exercise in cathartic release during life in a pandemic and speaks to the uncomfortable emotions we have all been having to reconcile with over the past year.

Director’s Vision

This body of work is an exercise in catharsis during life in a pandemic. It speaks to the uncomfortable emotions we have all been needing to reconcile over the past 9 months. We have been in a collective mourning period and SMLD offers an opportunity to not only grieve the lives we could’ve had and the lives that have been lost but a chance to honor our anger.
