SLUT CHAIN is the story of a young woman who was simply looking for love, but suddenly needs to to employ merciless tactics when she realizes a romantic prospect is a misogynistic predator. Her unintended actions lead her to shed her innocence and become an avenging warrior.
We are all looking for love – and in turn, we throw ourselves into flings and relationships, careers and alliances – without foresight, and with some abandon to our own hearts.
The themes we explore are power, morality, boundaries, and inner strength. I want other young women and men to connect with this film as we join and grow up in a world with a changing system already in place.
It is a serious exploration of the experiences of women in our generation as they enter this world with naivete and an open mind, and the deterioration of that innocence and independence, only to be reborn with a new sense of self and strength instilled.
