Calvin feels like an outsider because he was born upside down, and lives his entire life upside down too. He sees an opportunity to escape to a place where there is no up or down when he signs up for a one-way solo space voyage. After he befriends his neighbor, Calvin begins to wonder if he’s found somewhere he feels he belongs.
