Unfortunately one of the best fan films ever made, the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers Bootleg Film by Joseph Kahn has been removed from Vimeo and YouTube due to copyright infringements issued by the Power Rangers copyright owner Saban. Wether right or wrong, we are quite saddened by this. Here are some stills from the short, and the link in case it ever revives, along with an awesome word from the producer Adi Shankar.

UPDATE: We found a watchable version, so you can see the full film right here.

UPDATE 2: The internet has won! After a couple of days of dispute Haim Saban has finally come to his senses and came to an agreement with Adi Shankar and Joseph Kahn, or realized he was shooting himself in the foot with legal pursuits. Great news, the short (as well as the NSFW one) is now back up on both Vimeo and YouTube! Enjoy fellas!

Why Bootleg The Power Rangers?

When I was a child I had two favorite TV shows the X-Men animated series and Power Rangers. I eventually came to the realization that high school students weaponized to fight an intergalactic threat would turn those kids into some seriously disturbed adults with severe PTSD.
