Director’s Statement

This short is very personal to me as it illuminates the role reversal that occurs when a parent grows old and a child grows up. I took a risk showcasing an experience that is not commonly seen in film. I’m aware that some audience members may find this material uncomfortable, which is exactly why this story is important. Really, what I want is for my viewers to appreciate what they have because it’s very painful to lose someone.
