In a small town somewhere in the Rust-Belt, Leon is forced surrender his Family home to foreclosure. On eviction day he must decide, leave or go down fighting.
Director’s Vision for ‘Martyr of a Forgotten Dream’
In my view, the so-called American Dream has left us all behind and the promises made to us have not been kept. Everyday the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Things need to change before it’s too late. What I see is a country at its boiling point and if we don’t turn down the heat we’re going to boil over. Loosely based on real life events, our goal in Martyr of a Forgotten Dream is to take a look at what happens when things boil over, when people feel like they have no options left and decide there is only one way out.
