Plants are illegal. Not enough water. However, on the train to the Isle of Plastic, two young wards of the state sneak in some gardening. Practical effects, a cardboard set and stop-motion animation make for a playful, yet ominous child-sized world choreographed to Justin Lacy’s “I Don’t Need Another.”
