Eva is confronted by the dreams of her younger self when she opens a letter she wrote 25 years ago.
Director’s Vision
Combining traditional storytelling with slightly more experimental efforts, EVA is a short film about expectation, disappointment, and a woman’s quest to accept a life she may not have intended for. The film explores the ways in which we habitually form ideas of what a life ‘should’ be as opposed to opening up to what it can be, and raises questions about the responsibility we have towards our past, present, and future selves. Ultimately, EVA is about embracing uncertainty, and trying to accept life’s twists and turns with as much grace and dignity as we can.
