Broken: A Sockumentary explores the universal nature of heartbreak through interviews with real people and their stories, as told through socks. This film is intended as a gift to all those who have had a broken heart.
Director’s Vision
‘Broken: A Sockumentary’ is an honest investigation into the universal nature of heartbreak. It’s about the stories we tell ourselves, the stages that we go through, and the impermanence of feelings. We face similar fears and share common questions. We mourn the loss of people who were once a large part of our life and eventually (hopefully) we learn something. Through seeing our commonalities, we have a chance to feel part of something bigger. This film is a reminder to treat everyone you meet as if they have a broken heart.
