Bottle, Treasure, Tree is a window into the lives of two adult brothers, estranged by choice and by circumstance, who have come together after the death of their mother to sort through the effects of their childhood home. There they discover a forbidden bottle of whiskey, shrouded in the mystery of its own story, and they drunkenly embark on a journey back into their boyhood selves, where they clash over details of a troubled family history and eventually come to terms with who they are as brothers and who they are in the world.
