Departure is a hybrid animation/live action short film about an old man who relinquishes his lifelong memories after his death. It follows the mind of an elderly man during his final days and eventually through his transition into the after life. The story taps into the question of whether we continue on consciously after our bodies have died, and alludes to emotional and spiritual hopefulness in what lies ahead.
