On the opening night of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a seven-year-old girl’s Star Wars toys come to life. They learn who they are and set off on an adventure to help their young companion as she heads out to watch The Force Awakens.

Director’s Statement

Star Wars: The Toys Awaken is the third film in my fan film series called Star Wars Toy Stories. In each of these films, we take the premise of Pixar’s classic film Toy Story and frame it around a tale about a Star Wars fan and his or her Star Wars toys. In this film, we explore the simple theme of friendship with a fun adventure set during the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in December 2015. A young girl and her new Star Wars toy each learn that they can be themselves and fit in with a community of friends who accepts them unconditionally.
