Methods

When a young acting student struggles with her professor’s method of choice, she turns to her talented classmate and his unorthodox approach to acting.

At some point in our lives, we all end up in the uncomfortable situation of being asked to follow a leader we may not entirely agree with. It is difficult, particularly for young, naive students, to realize you can leave the pack and find your own way. This short explores an artist struggling with her craft, something all filmmakers can relate to. It touches on ideas of objectivity in the artist’s process. Through a little humor – albeit a little dark – the film pokes fun at the pressures of drama school.
