When an attempted burglary turns into an unlikely car-jacking, two aspiring criminals learn an important lesson : only practice makes.

Robberies don’t always go to plan, even when your method acting. Director Thomas Leisten Schneider takes us through a little adventure where an attempted burglary turns into an unlikely car-jacking, a film filled with unsuspecting lessons and pleasant surprises – including the unprecedented and welcome appearance of Donald Sutherland.

This short film was made because we wanted to work together with Caleb Scott and Lucas Near Verbrugghe so we decided to write a script.

I had this idea of a twisted film about actors rehearsing for a gangster film using method acting and would get robbed because they were in the middle of nowhere in a dangerous without knowing. We pushed the idea further and it became “Point and shoot”.

Once I knew that they were all actors in the film, I thought about Donald Sutherland because who would be a better acting coach than a fantastic actor, I thought it would add some humor to it as well. We sent him the script and were very lucky because he said yes to joining us.

A film generally simple on the photography side, which however works hard on the script, as well as the performances put in place. Caleb Scott and Lucas Near Verbrugghe embody their roles gloriously while Sutherlands imposing stance and tone speaks bravely for itself.
