With the threat of deforestation & human destruction, a recluse man living out in the wilderness struggles to maintain his life as a bear.

Director’s Vision for ‘Wild Bear’

Wild Bear is a film that explores the negative impact human beings have on animals in the natural world. To illustrate this threat, the animals in this film are human.

This role reversal of man playing bear highlights our shared primal instincts of love and survival, and shows how we as humans have a disconnect between our contribution to deforestation and environmental destruction.

This film means a great deal to me and has led me on an incredible journey alongside my lovely cast and crew, who I cannot thank enough for being so passionate through it all and understood the mission from the get go.

We held rehearsals in the woods, survived a handful of challenging shoot days tackling the great outdoors and created a visceral film that is both cinematic and intimate. Our film may have no dialogue, but it certainly has a lot to say.
