A troubled boy realizes his new home is haunted when two girls break into his house ghost hunting, the apparition however is not at all what the trio expect, and yet, exactly what they need.
Director’s Vision for ‘The Invisibles’
As someone who grew up feeling invisible and misunderstood, The Invisibles is a love letter to my younger self and the friends who made me feel seen. Growing up, we are often overwhelmed with the need to be special, to be valuable, or stand out in order to matter. We push friends away to feel seen by people who don’t care. As we grow up, we come to realize that we do matter, that we are special and valuable, and all we need are the friends who truly see us. Inspired by these growing pains and a search for connection, The Invisibles draws from classic paranormal and alien invasion stories to weave a tail about learning to face our fears, love ourselves, and embrace friendship – with even the most unlikley of friends.
