‘Terminal’ explores euthanasia tourism, a phenomenon that many people aren’t familiar with. At present, most of us have no legal option domestically to receive humane assistance in ending their own life. Facing terminal or debilitating disease, people from around the world have chosen to fly to Switzerland, to get help ending their lives.
Our story follows George, the stoic father of Rachel, who accompanies her on their final flight to Switzerland. While Rachel is set on making the most of this last day – engaging every small moment – George is hoping that she will change her mind about ending her life.
