Director’s Vision for ‘Spool’

The film serves as a proof of concept for a feature length horror film. It’s a story about the self-destructive choices we make in the face of unimaginable grief, following in the footsteps of films like The Babadook, Hereditary, and Night House, which use genre elements to explore the ways we can completely unravel in our most difficult moments. The script is completed and we’re hoping to shop it in the new year — hopefully riding momentum from the short’s online release this Christmas!
