Director’s Vision for ‘space’

‘space’ is an exploration of the lines between feeling and fact. Often during unrequited love, we seek the in between, hoping there is a hidden meaning that is more aligned with our wants. I wanted to illustrate how powerfully the mind paints our reality, and how our own realities feel real, even if they are delusional.

Haunted by memories, the protagonist stalks her ex partner. The actresses and I spoke extensively about stalking exes post break up. We curated real experiences to inform the narrative of both online and in person stalking.

My intention is that the insanity of these experiences unite us to feel less alone, less crazy.
