On the 50th anniversary of his horrific death, a shopping mall Santa Claus returns to seek revenge on all those connected to the tragedy.
In this holiday horror proof of concept, the only thing coming down the chimney is… revenge!
Director’s Vision for ‘Sleigh’
SLEIGH is a holiday horror short that acts as a proof of concept for a feature. Shot over two days in May with a very modest budget, this short owes its existence to the generosity and dedication of an incredible cast and crew. Without their time and talent, this project wouldn’t have been possible.
At its core, SLEIGH is about returning home and grappling with the past. Like many other people, I moved back to my hometown during COVID, and the experience of reconnecting with both familiar faces and unresolved emotions has been transformative. SLEIGH explores the time in life when you question where you came from and who you’ve become. It’s a horror story, yes, but it’s also a reflection on the ways we wrestle with generational trauma.
