Director’s Vision for ‘Skin to Skin’
When we started writing this film, we felt as though exploration of intimacy and sensuality in cinema had diminished over the years. We felt a desire to make a film that would allow us to explore intimacy and a fear of intimacy in a meaningful but provocative way. We were deeply inspired by the work of David Cronenberg which bridges the gap between psycho-sexual themes and body horror to create a synthesis that transcends genre.
We’re incredibly proud and appreciative of our entire team for making this bold vision come to life. Each craftsperson’s artistry came together beautifully to create this final product and we hope Skin to Skin resonates with you as much as it does with us.
