Director’s Vision for ‘Sit.’

Sit. is a film about who we are when no one is watching. It explores the complex inner lives of two women at vastly different stages of life, inviting audiences to engage with the full spectrum of who they are.

Mothers are not just caregivers — they are women with desires, vulnerabilities, and unmet needs. Young women, often perceived as innocent or harmless, are in fact actively testing boundaries as they shape their identities.

The film was inspired by my own early experiences babysitting — and the strange dissonance of being granted intimate access to strangers’ homes simply because no one expects young women to break the rules.
