Director’s Vision for ‘Sing Me a Song’
With Sing Me a Song, I wanted to create a cinematic poem that drifts between dream and decay, past and future, myth and memory. Set in the intriguing landscapes of Armenia, the film follows a lone seeker through a fractured world in search of a healing voice. Inspired by ancient Armenian folklore and Tigran Hamasyan’s powerful composition, this chapter explores how silence, longing, and transformation shape the human spirit. It’s a reflection on what remains when words are gone—and all that’s left is the mysterious song… from the Bird of a Thousand Voices.
