An official selection at 2017’s Tribeca Film Festival, ‘Silo: Edge of the Real World’ highlights a small Midwest farm town in the wake of a grain entrapment, a rare and harrowing type of agricultural accident, which has affected thousands of families over the last half century. The short film follows two farmers, one a student and the other a father, as they navigate the dangers of modern farming its effects on their community.

‘Silo: Edge of the Real World’ is a proof of concept for a full-length feature film about two brothers who work together on a farm in Kentucky. But a combination of carelessness and bad luck lead to their entrapment in a silo. The film spans the course of one day as firemen and police officers conduct a rescue mission for an all too common fatal accident.
