On her birthday, Sabrina, a drifting Brooklyn nanny and aspiring writer, encounters strange happenings that spark her creativity. As her life quickly falls apart, she must embrace her imagination and confront the messy truth of herself.
Director’s Vision for ‘Sabrina’s Dream’
With Sabrina’s Dream, we set out to capture one of those days where everything unravels. It’s Sabrina’s birthday, but instead of celebrating, she loses her job, and finds herself questioning everything.
As creatives, we know that push-and-pull all too well: chasing your dreams while battling self-doubt and trying to pay the bills. Sabrina’s journey speaks to that inner struggle – the messy, funny, and painfully honest moments that force you to confront who you are and who you want to become.
At its core, Sabrina’s Dream is a character-driven short grounded in dry humor, quiet introspection, and a big-hearted perspective. It’s offbeat, a little raw, and, we hope, deeply relatable.
