When his grandchildren are fighting in the yard, PopPop retells a story from his own childhood to teach them a lesson.

Director’s Vision

This film originated in the stories my father and grandfather would tell me about their childhoods. Those stories were so thrilling and hilarious that I had to commit them to film. I personally did a majority of the work (direction, animation, editing), while my father co-wrote with me and created gorgeous set design and my grandfather contributed the voice over. I’m honored that audiences around the globe have responded to our family project.
