Director’s Vision for ‘Miles Smiles’

If there’s one thing we know, it’s severe existential crises (more so than running, but we’re working on it), where you question everything, briefly consider moving to a remote island, and somehow convince yourself you were meant to be named Xavier.

This film comes from that place, where identity slips through your fingers, reality tilts just enough to make you dizzy, and the only certainty is that nothing is certain. It’s personal, but not in a tragic way, more in the way that makes you laugh at your own absurdity before collapsing into a pile of feelings.
