An experimental film exploring racism in America through a spiritual lens.

Director’s Vision

In 2012 Hans Ndam moved from his home town of Douala Cameroon to Dallas Texas in pursuit of a dancing career. But aside from that, he knew there was a deeper purpose for him to be here. He knew through his faith, his mission was to bridge cultural gaps where he could, encouraging people to share their humanity with one another. But immediately he found himself hitting obstacles, many of which attached to the pigment of his skin. Despite these obstacles, Hans has continued to be that bridge for many people over the years. In this collaboration with Texas based filmmaker Andrew Q Holzschuh, Hans reflects on his experiences as an African born man in America and explores the root of racism through his faith.
