Director’s Vision for ‘Good Girls Get Fed’
GOOD GIRLS GET FED takes place in present day because it isn’t an imagination of where our society could end up, but rather a commentary on where we are now. Women are still expected to squeeze into a role created by previous male-dominated generations, and those who venture outside of these gender roles often face judgement and opposition. This film is dark, unapologetic and brutal to wake its audience up from the disillusionment that any progress is acceptable. Instead, we must be brave enough to demand more.
