Zidane, frustrated with his dead-end job promoting a Middle Eastern café, dreams of escaping his stagnant life in New York. His best friend, Abdel, is content working toward his goal of opening a halal food truck. When Zidane spots a wealthy woman with a French Bulldog, desperation leads him to hatch a bold plan: steal the dog and claim the reward money from her. Despite Abdel’s reluctance, the friends execute the scheme. Guilt and personal loss resurface, and Zidane faces a defining choice about who he wants to be.
