Fast Forward to Forever is a story that tackles the grieving process and the questions we ask ourselves when someone passes away. The film follows our main character, Josh, a wallflower-type of sorts. He is pulled into Anna’s world as he recognizes someone who feels alone too. After her eventual passing, we follow Josh as he looks back at the past and begins to reflect on what it means to grieve for a lost loved one.
Director’s Vision for ‘Fast Forward to Forever’
Every person in this world experiences at least two things in their life – love and loss. Fast Forward to Forever is a story that tackles the grieving process and the questions we ask ourselves as humans when someone passes away. To those of you who have found yourself asking “Why didn’t I spend my time with this person more wisely?” or “What could I have done differently?” this is a story to you. At its heart, Fast Forward to Forever is about the ineffable value of memory. While slippery, engaging with the past can fill one with gratitude, even if only for a moment.
