Director’s Vision for ‘Dog’

I was 12 when I started going to raves. At a rave, you can have a profound spiritual experience while danger lurks just around the corner. As a youth, my experiences raving were formative for me. I wanted to express the anxieties I felt as a young teen, eager to discover what fun meant in the adult sense, while confronting the loss of my innocence.
