In 1969, Captain Dale Black along with two other pilots died in a non-survivable airplane crash in Burbank, California as covered by the LA Times. Dale later came back to life. Today, he lives to tell about it sharing this harrowing near-death experience that is unique, personal, and evocative in this independent short documentary.

Director’s Statement

Recently, a family member was tragically killed which caused me to grapple with the idea of what happens after death. What do they experience (if anything) and where are they now? That’s what prompted my initial search for answers, coming across Dale’s incredible, well-corroborated story. During some of the darkest moments in my life, this story offered hope.
