DESERTERS visually explores the anti-climatic act of trying to listen to one’s deepest self.

DESERTERS are those who consciously choose to surrender. They listen to the unspoken voice of their body’s sensations and patiently retrieve memories and feelings. They stop running from themselves and find out what they were actually running from.

It’s usually a child, too scared to even cry. They stay with that child, they gradually become the adult the child could never count on.
They’re now becoming whole again.
