After inheriting their parents’ property, Mary-Ann and Sue, decide to split a small acre of land making them neighbors. Mary-Ann’s live-in boyfriend, Boone, recently off probation and depending on her support, begins to question whether her family is in favor of seeing him around. The feud strengthens after Boone takes action into his own hands that severs what little relationship existed between everyone, distancing himself from her family irrevocably, and Mary-Ann is left to consider where her loyalties lie.
