Directors’ Statement

Our aim was to modernize and ground a very familiar horror character. We wanted to subvert the viewers’ expectations of the tropes that are commonly associated with this character while acknowledging what has come before us.

With that said, the success of the piece and its execution is determined by a myriad of variables – most importantly, our cast and crew. Without their tireless enthusiasm, professionalism, and dedication, this video would not exist.

This is our nasty, brutal, and intense love letter to a genre we adore.
