This one minute short tells the story of a young woman who, after having one hell of a night out, finds solace in the arrival of some stoic visitors.

After penning the feature length sci-fi drama screenplay for “Arrival”, I filmed this short proof of concept alien apocalypse teaser for almost nothing with a couple of friends. Then, I spent a lot of time learning 3D tracking/animation to create the VFXs. Additionally with the short, I took it upon myself to attempt to express the rich backstory and have a full arc in the confines of a minute with no spoken dialogue.
