Eagle Rock

In the early 1970s, an insecure young woman in love with a charismatic cult leader learns that she’s willing to do whatever it takes to win his heart — even murder.

It’s the summer of 1971 at Eagle Rock, a popular campground in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Twenty-one year old Alex Altman and twenty year old Sasha Adams have been with the mysterious and charismatic Jay since the spring of 1968. Alex and Sasha are only two of many girls living an idyllic life in the mountains.

Among them are Helen, a socialite from San Francisco who’s run away from a failing marriage, Debbie, a track star from Nebraska, Claire, a girl from Liverpool still looking for a home and Michelle, a farm girl from Wyoming. Soon, the cult’s paths will cross with Margaret Kelly, a beautiful, rich and popular Olympic swimmer, and no one will ever be the same.

Like Martha Marcy May Marlene meets The Virgin Suicides, Eagle Rock will be a frank portrait of young womanhood and what it means to search for love and acceptance.
