The Best Picks of The Month highlight our Daily Short Picks that resonated the most with us and our audience. These are the best picks for the month of September 2026.
Desire, vulnerability, transformation, and the unexpected consequences of human connection drive this month’s selections. Open Wide turns curiosity and temptation into a nightmarish encounter, while Domingo (Sunday) captures the intoxicating highs and creeping uncertainty of a new romance. Doggy Style takes love into surreal territory as a strange epidemic threatens one man’s final connection to his humanity, and LAPSE transforms a night of escapism into a tense encounter shaped by attraction, assumptions, and consequence.
