A man is walking through a desert carrying a full water bottle. He is desperately fighting the temptation to drink the water. The question arises how the man got himself into this predicament. And what will happen if he does drink the water?

Director’s Statement

Growing up watching American films, I couldn’t resist the urge to direct a short on my very first trip to the United States. Having always loved the cinematic quality of films with a minimal cast in a single location. Films like ‘Walkabout’, ‘127 Hours’ & ‘Moon’, I wanted to shoot a film that looked epic, but at the same time felt very intimate. Since our main character has no one to talk to, we had to communicate his hardships through our camerawork and sound design. The desert is known for playing tricks with your head. This film is no exception. I would love to hear your interpretation of the ending.
