A short monster horror film about breaking a cycle of violence.

We’re proud to announce that we are making our new film, PERFECT MONSTER, as part of the BFI and Creative England 2016 iShorts scheme.

Written and directed by Matt Harris-Freeth, and produced by Paul Harry Thomas, PERFECT MONSTER is an intense, visceral, live-action horror film about a violent relationship and a primal monster.

That’s all we’re going to say about the plot for now. After all, this is a monster film – and our job is to keep you on the edge of your seat.

With Perfect Monster, I want to get into the story fast and create an intense, scary and uncompromising horror that ends with a sense of hope.

In the style of some of the awesome movies we grew up with in the 80’s and 90’s, we’re planning to use classic practical creature FX to animate our creature, but these don’t come cheap. We’ve had £5,000 in funding from the BFI and Creative England, and we’ve raised some private money – but we still need a little bit extra to bring our monster to life using the classic special FX we know and love.

So we’ve turned to Crowdfunder.
